Over the years After Hours have shared the bill with some of the greats such as Barclay James Harvest, Focus, Art Wood (Ronnie's brother), Toyah Wilcox, Suzy Quatro, Dr Feelgood and many many more..... After Hours have been referred to as ' Road Dogs' because they've been around for so long!  ...So, If you want to hear some of the best Blues Rock in East Anglia , these boys deliver it in spades

Blues Situation

4 piece blues band playing a mixture of Texas, Chicago and original good time blues. Blues Situation love the blues, love the grooves and  love to entertain with authentic, raw rhythm & blues from the East Anglian Delta played with feeling,  energy and humour. Blues Situation cuts across a host of blues styles with strong song-writing, sharp lyrics, exciting guitar work, gritty Chicago-style harmonica and a rhythm section that really grooves. Two albums have been released in the past 6 years (Wonderful World and Sweet Like This). The third is on its way this year.

Cold Sweat If you are looking for Attitude and Emotion Then look no Further than ‘Cold Sweat’. Andy Clouting (lead/Rhythm Guitar) is a seasoned Musician, his Skilful playing has a noticeable wide variety of influences with, an obvious respect to them all. The four-piece Band also has Trevor Andrews (bass/vocals), Stan Clouting (Drums), and Simon Lovick (Vocals). They Play Rhythm’n’Blues, Boogie and, Rock’nRoll . Every Gig Includes a variety of Classics and Originals Designed to keep you Listening on and off the Dance Floor. Between them their Influences include Albert, BB and, Freddie King, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters, Free, ZZ Top and of course, Elvis. ‘Cold Sweat’ have played for years on the Local Live Circuit of Clubs, Pubs and Beer Festivals, around Norfolk and Suffolk.

The D. C. Wilson Band leaves no tail feathers unstirred  and no booty unshaken with its own brand of old-school R’n’B  guaranteed to get you up and dancing. Fronted by D. C. Wilson, probably the best-dressed bluesman in East Anglia, the band features the B.B-esque guitar of Simon Sales, the fiery Hammond of Henry Gee, the powerhouse rhythm section of Pete Thompson on bass and Paul ‘Timeless’ Borley on drums, all sewn up with the congas of Nick ‘Arnold’ Stevenson to sprinkle the whole combo with Latin fairy dust. Egypt is a UK blues rock three piece band formed in 1987 by: Eric Chipulina - guitar and vocals, Alan Fish - bass and vocals, Peter Correa on drums. All three are former members of legendary progressive blues outfit The Groundhogs, and have featured on several albums and toured throughout the UK and Europe over many years. Alan´s credentials also include playing with members of Welsh heavy rock pioneers Budgie in the band Tredegar, two albums for ex-Bo Diddley harp player Billy Boy Arnold, and a European tour for Chuck Berry among other things.

Groove Hounds

The Groove Hounds are a three-piece band playing music inspired by jump jive, Texas blues with a nod to jazz and funk. The groove is everything! The band comprises Paul Whyman on guitar and vocal, Alex Whyman on bass and Sam Carter on drums. All these musicians are well known on the local music scene and Paul and Alex have both hosted the Norfolk Blues Society jam nights. A night of blues grooving is guaranteed!

Jamie Roe Band

After a brief hiatus to focus on other musical projects and family, we are excited to be returning with some brand new material and a new live show. Jamie Roe Band is known for energetic and soulful live performances, Blending blues with modern styling and a distinctive finger picked solos. Joe Goes Green  are John Green and Stefan “Joe Langford” Wasyliw. The Norfolk based duo have been playing the blues together for over 12 years. A few years ago they self penned an eclectic album Divided which demonstrated a great variety of styles and influence.  This summer they will release an album of original blues-rock songs (to be debuted at the festival) , highlighting Stefan's recognised talent with the guitar.  Influences of Hendrix, Jeff Healey, Freddie King, John Mayer, SRV and Gary Moore.

Paul Tinkler's Part Time Blues Band

Paul has toured Germany and apeared in and around the London venues, playing with such names as Chris Barber and The Kinks bass player Jim Rodford. He has also been the front man for "John Slaughter's Blues Band" and the "CC Blues Band". These days, as well as being available for private engagements, Norfolk based Paul can be regularly seen performing with his "Part Time Blues Bands" in such popular East Anglian music venues.

Robin Bibi Band have been exciting, inspiring and entertaining audiences in the U.K., Ireland , Europe and the USA for almost 20 years and they just keep on increasing their energy and originality with every show! After an extended period of ” Dues Paying” during which they played at almost all the major UK blues festivals appearing with artists such as Van Morrison , Chuck Berry, Bob Geldof , Dr Feelgood, UB40, Focus, Hawkwind, and many more.. Also releasing four studio and five live albums,  Robin recently signed a deal with Ashwood Records and released his most original and critically acclaimed studio album “No More A Secret” which received extensive AirPlay on local and national radio and peaked at Number 2 in the Independant Blues Broadcasters Association playlist.

Established in 2012, RockavoX is an independent rock choir offering it’s own unique spin on well-known rock and pop tracks of the past 70 years! Based in Dereham and Swaffham and part of the J.D.T. Music Academy, RockavoX performs at venues and gigs across Norfolk, raising money for charities and supporting the academy’s Big Build Project. We’re thrilled to be supporting the Dereham Blues Festival this year!

Big sounding solo artist playing Roots & Blues, on slide guitar, stomp box, harmonica. (Nominated in the British Blues Awards). After many years in the multi-award winning band ´Babajack´ I have now gone solo and released my first solo CD this year. It is receiving fantastic reviews and airplay including Radio 2. I have had a great summer playing festivals home and abroad, including the Main Stage at Upton Blues Festival and Acoustic headliner at the Great British Blues Festival at Colne.

Uncalled Four

Uncalled Four are all old enough to know better, and yet young enough to play old school Rhythm & Blues with a spring in the step and a twinkle in the eye. And that’s R&B of the broadest church with a twist of blues, a twang of country and a trace of americana. A couple of original tunes jostle side by side with classics from BB King, Ray Charles, Georgie Fame, Bonnie Raitt, Stephen Bruton, Ry Cooder, and many more.

When Rivers Meet

Grace & Aaron Bond of When Rivers Meet are a Blues + Roots Rock duo from Essex. Their soulful vocals lock into harmony with a natural chemistry: Aaron´s bold, driven guitar is grounded by his solid kick drum, and Grace´s unique slide mandolin and fiddle combine to create a wall of sound.
